Taking That First Step
Hi. I am Melissa Bowen and I am Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor, and a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator. Sometimes we lose ourselves as we move along our life path. That can turn any situation into a crisis. It's important to stay connected, to yourself, to others, and to your life, in order to experience life as fulfilling, free, and joyful.
I am here to support you on your journey, to help you go from crisis to reconstruction, by using the building blocks of authenticity, vulnerability, and connection.
I offer groups, workshops and online resources. I will be creating an online membership devoted to your emotional wellness and wholehearted living. I am creating opportunities for intensive consulting, in addition to my private practice of individual counseling.

Life is a journey and sometimes the path gets rocky. Counseling can help you identify and establish the tools you need to get to where and who you want to be. Working with a counselor can help you learn and develop better ways to handle the issues that are standing in the way of your goals.

I offer 8-week groups, weekend intensives, and lectures on topics that range from Boundaries to Worthiness (and a bunch of things in between).
